Yes I am and I was being facetious. It was sort of a joke based on another thread about whether you should resign.
Seriously, you can't mate with one Bishop. It can't be done. It is not just a matter of being unable to force mate; you cannot place those three pieces on the board in any way that ends in check mate.
And don't post back and tell me that you can and you wish you could show me. You can't do it, because it can't be done.
When I get tired of chasing the other king around the board and
offer draw or I win. I will post a chess board with the pieces
in place, to Prove It Can Be Done! I am surprised that players
with thousands of moves cannot see how a simple configuration
of three pieces would result in checkmate.

We're trying to help you. Go to this webwsite:
http://www.sigmachess.com/_features/rulesofchess.html
about a quarter of the way down the page is info on the Bishop.
"A single bishop and a king also cannot force mate no matter how the lonely king is placed on the board."
Maybe you'll believe it since it is on the internet.
I would love to see your board. I tell you what; take the draw and post your board. If it shows an actual Check Mate using King and Bishop vs King. I will mail you a check for $100,000.
Originally posted by bishop 7Like everyone else have said. There is now mate in this position. Accept the draw and move on.

Originally posted by bishop 7assuming you're not pulling our collective leg, I'm thinking maybe you're mistaking stalemate for a checkmate.

stalemate: enemy has no legal moves, but king is not in check.
checkmate: enemy has no legal moves, and king is in check.
you can stalemate a lone king with king + bishop. you can not checkmate a lone king with king + bishop. a game that ends in stalemate is drawn.

The computer thinks a stalemate is a win.
I felt i had to say this.
Originally posted by LanndonKaneHeh, funny you say this, because it is not the same as trying to mate with just one queen. You can mate with one queen...easily. Maybe you mean with a knight?
You cannot mate with a bishop!
the opponent will always have an escap square, always.
It's the same as trying to mate with just one queen.
As for giving advice, there is not one thing you can say that will change the outcome of the game- it is a guranteed draw
