You are talking absolute nonsense 😠

If opening is useful for GM it means that it may be useful also for amateurs.

while i have your attention 😛. What do you personally think of the Traxler (Wilkes-Barre)? I've been studying it a lot recently and I'm almost completely convinced that, despite what many say, it actually is sound. Your opinion?

edit - sorry to hijack the thread btw..

wow yeah.. 79, i'm sorry I even asked 😛.

It's okay, red knight is plenty talented enough to teach me a lesson.

I took it because I love the Wilkes Barre.

That and the Muzio Polerio are the most fun you can have on a chess board.

yeah, way to completely divert an Alekhine's Defence thread to some other unsound opening...
besides, don't call Korch "all powerful" and the like...
you unconfident whelp!
(no offense Korch)
but just because someone is really good at chess, doesn't mean they're a sage or something...
Look at Bobby Fisher...
he's got an argument as the greatest player ever before the computer chess age. and he's friggin' insane!

Edit: I said "other unsound opening", implying that Alekhine's is unsound. which is false...
after all, I think I'm winning our current Alekhine's game.
