Am i right in doing this?
Game 990971
I cannot see me winning this game. I am in a very por position indeed. All i can do is move my queen between F1 and F3 to force an eventual stale mate. Is this okay to do? I have offered a draw but he will not accept.

Edit - if the same position is repeated a number of times the draw is automatic btw.

Okay. Sorry. Wasn't asking for advice on a move though. I just wanted to know if it was ethically correct to force a stale mate in this way.
i personally find it very satisfying to force a draw by tricky methods when it is my only alternative to losing.
i also feel a bizarre happiness when my opponents do it to me.
time to go look at your game ... then i will shutup.

Wel i've just realised how i could have won that game. Well aat least forced taking his queen but he's accepted the draw now so that's the end of that.
did you mean exchanging queens by:
32 ......... Qf3d1
33 Rg2g1 Qd1xd7
34 Qb7xd7 Rd8xd7
leaving a knight and two pawns for a rook.
then perhaps play f6 and Ne5 ...
is this better than a draw? i do not really know!
Okay, I saw that. I thought he was talking about winning a queen for a knight or rook, and that's what I didn't see. I'd say that the draw is better. Black has equalized the material, but it's only material equality, not an advantage. Black would still have to get through an endgame where white's two rooks can coordinate easily compared to black's knight and rook. I'd take the draw and be happy personally.
