HeinzKat has a 5-0 score v someone at Bltiz?
This thread has just become ridiculous.

Palynka makes a good point, is PR perhaps hinting that these
2000+ players he has beaten at speed chess need looking into?

(On the other hand - how come a 1400 player is so good at blitz? 😉)

See PR. everyone agrees these games are a different style of chess.
A 2000+ player blitzing in the wee hours 'cos they are bored
is not the same 2000+ OTB or serious C.C. player.

So forget it, move on, just enjoy the moment you caught a 2000+
player with their pants down.
(and in your real C.C. games take your time - it's not blitz).

The typical RHP Blitz game.

Post a game
Somebody (p1200) joins
Plays 10 harmless moves
Times out
Opponent disconnected

It gets interesting when they do put up a game, then they blunder left and right and the game goes straight into the RHP Blitz thread. 😉

I have someone against whom I am up about 18-3 on the RHP Blitz site but that's quite an exception

Hi Heinz

18-3 wow.

How did you manage to lose 3 games to such an idiot.

( I cannot remember the 3 - though you probably have them saved -saddo).

Well that was 1 minute which is not blitz chess. It's wrist & blitz chess.
I hate it. Though when someone jumped in before we could play
again I won them ones. Usually I'm up on the game but down
on the clock.

You are good at it. How do I rate at 1 minute, - good, fair, bad, shocking?

Have to have a session at 4/0 see if I can make it 17/4.

It was a statistic I made up on the spot, but it should be close enough

Very good!

Yahoo (eat my knickers Fat Lady).

When you made up the stats could I not have been given a few more wins?

I'm going to play 1/0 again when I'm in the mood.
Won't play Pawn Rebellion though. I'll see my losses posted everywhere.

It has occurred to me that a better title for this thread would be "Blind Squirrel finds a nut". I played on a dart team for Bull and Bush here in Orlando FL (lots of British expats here, so we have a dart league), and my nickname was "Squirrel" (which I reluctantly acquiesced to) because I wasn't a very good shot, but I had a knack for hitting clutch shots to win in big situations.

I sure would have preferred "clutch" or "prime time", but at least I got a free pint of Smithwick's out of it occasionally.

Yes, that's the hesitation when playing such a player. A few bad moves and the whole world will know about it. I always make a point of anonimizing (?) my opponents' names. 😕

The 18-3 stat was made up for my record vs. some 1300 player, against you I think I think I am at about 2,5 (2 wins on time and a perpetual check) - 56,5. 😳

Hi Heinz.

So who hammered me 18/3 then? I thought it was you.

Paul.

Squirrel is UK slang for someone who does not buy a round,
looks like a rat and sniffs other peoples nuts.

Good Luck with the darts.

"Squirrel" is US slang for a nutcase, and I am glad it just stayed "in house".

I thought about getting a sweatshirt with the words "Bedlam University Dart Team" on it, but never got around to it!

Hi PR. I also played blitz against Verschrikkelijk. There were 3 fast games - i won all of them. After that he wanted to play one Rapid game 15/0 or even 20/0 ( i dont remember it now). He totally destroyed me in the middlegame. Don't play him CC or even Rapid game - never
