Mind if I post this in the greatest games on rhp thread?
Originally posted by TheHumanFritzI think so, but I'm a sucker for positional sacs. But I really think you should post it there. vipiu's game is the best out there; and GalaxyShield's one is very good too, but I think you should post your game there.
was it really that good?
I see that thread more like an expository of great games and yours certainly was one. 😀
This was probably a 5/5 game or a 10/5... No big deal but I'll post it anyway.

This is not too bad a queen sacrifice.
Originally posted by TheHumanFritzYou have an eye for tactics as seen through that one...you saw 5-10 pins / skewers, etc after the queen sacrifice.

That's probably the biggest problem with alot of chess players: They overrate their queen. In my opinion, sacrificing R + P (And position) for Q is stupid. Anytime you can sacrifice a Q for R + N / B and have fair position, you can win - I have seen quite a few resignations when sacrificing a Q for R + N/B or even 2 rooks.
Hell.. I just had a look and I have 2 of them in 10 games.
Lucky me, do I get a medal?
