I consider the following to be one of my best games (it's an exact replication of a miniature by Greco, as I later found out, which stole quite a large amount of my thunder....)
1.e4 b6
2.d4 Bb7
3.Bd3 f5
4.exf5 Bxg2
5.Qh5+ g6
6.fxg6 Nf6
7.gxh7+ Nxh5
8.Bg6#
Game 984440
A 17-mover with a very plausible move sequence. What was my opponent's critical error? I'm still not sure, but it sure ended quickly.
Originally posted by mikebindSacrifing the rook on move 11 in exchange for the bishop probably would have been the best bet for your opponent. He would have lost the exchange, but the game would have continued much longer than it did. That as well as releaving the threat of a discovered attack on d8 by moving the queen. There may have been better moves, this is what I can see though.

at last i have another one to add to my own thread😏
been a while since I had one this quick - 11 moves i think
Game 1556250
[Edit : ok sorry 10 moves]
While I can't say I am proud of this game (only 10 moves), it does illustrate the dangers of bringing your queen out too soon. BTW - this is my first post. This seems to be a nice site.

well im proud of this game, im brand new to chess and its quickly becomeing my new hobbie. this game comes in at just under 20 moves at 19 moves. This win swelled my head up good after winning to a player ranked somewhat above me. I cant say i made the best moves, but at least i stayed even on material.
(dont know how to post the game id, so heres the link)
