Sorry about the extended wait. I have been having problems with my crappy dial-up internet. Just the other day it was running somewhere around 1.2kbps. At that speeds you cant even connect to most websites. It seams to be working now. I should not have any problem keeping up with the game as long as the internet at my house decides to obay.

Checked in a db and found 58 games. 48 of thos games black played d5. It has the support of Morozevich 2 games, and some other and other 2300+ players. Actually the games I found everyone 2300+ as black played this move.
blindcheesecake: Doesn't your chessmaster have an opening book? Does it always play strange opening moves ? Because this line is about 50% -50% for both sides. Mostly draws, but equal number of win for each side about.

yes chessmaster has a huge database which it utilizes. If favors the strange openings for some reason. the agreed upon move will be played tommorow according to plan.
Originally posted by blindcheesecakeSorry I wasn't talking about database. I was actually talking about opening tree, or opening key. Does it have one? The chessmaster I have never played weird opening moves like this. This position in a db, I could only find 60 some games. So it's like CM is trying to get us out of the db or maybe a hand from up above is control CM actions 🙂
