Probably they are very happy when they spot a posible repetition on the board...they think: "hurray, we get a fast draw and the spectators also canot blame us...we rule!!!"

if you could somehow convince him that your rating were over 2600, I bet he would 🙂

you reminded me of some Petrosian quotes:

"Some consider that when I play I am excessively cautious, but it seems to me that the question may be a different one. I try to avoid chance. Those who rely on chance should play cards or roulette. Chess is something quite different." – Tigran Petrosian

"They say my chess games should be more interesting. I could be more interesting - and also lose." – Tigran Petrosian

I bet that if he would play in some Open tournaments his rating would go down instantly with about 100 points...

what's up with Kramnik's ...Nc6 anyway? why would he allow doubled pawns, normally I thought that type of move had the idea of developing the roo 1Bp5/3PP3/2P2N2/P4PPP/R1BQK2R w KQkq - 0 9[/fen]

(last move ...Nc6 by black -Kramnik)

What are these accusations ? Can you tell us more about that ? A link to the subject would be great.

I made it sound like I was referring to a recent specific incident, sorry, it's not like that.

I think some time (several months) ago GM tournament organizers has taken a precautionary action such as delaying the online broadcasts about 30 mins after the games start, so that it'll be difficult to get help from the 'outside world' (since they won't be knowing what's going on the 'inside'😉.

excuse me for the bad english.

Yasser Seirawan is now commenting on Playchess.com

He claims Ivanchuk is in trouble.

ivanchuk was severely outplayed in the opening, we don't see that happening much at that level. now he's struggling to survive a piece down.

Anyone know why Topalov and Anand are not playing? I was very impressed by Kramniks round 2 victory... it seemed very unKramnik-like.
