The Russians deserve it more than any country.

The point is that there is no Russian Opening and I doubt anyone would argue that the Russians deserve an opening more than the english, french, dutch, danish, italians, sicilians, or spanish, etc.
We should rename the Caro-Kann the Russian Defense.
