I just finished Game 7167615, where I had planned 22...Bxb4, Qxb4, and then Qa7. Unfortunatly, I accidently played Qa7 first, and I resigned immediatly. I played this quick game against a friend of mine to cheer me up, and It's kindda cool. Ok....I admit it; my friend has been playing chess for about 6 months... Still, it's worth looking at.
The strange thing is that I'm pretty sure I have played this exact game, or one very similiar to it online before.
Hi ClanDF
Your Game 7167615 I spent hours posting how one should
always do a 'pre-send' check and you do this??
Check out my game v Lekz Game 5958244 it is very similiar to yours
from a completely different opening.
That wee OTB game you showed hides a beautiful variation.
I believe ...Nxe4 is theory (well it was once upon a time) as the Knight
on d4 hangs.

Interestingly, just two days after that game, I played this:
Almost a replica, from the black side of the board.

I think you need a 1 minute pre-post ritual 😀

If you are talking about this postion.
Black cannot play 1...gxf5 becuse White plays 2.g5! and you will be mated.
A pre-post ritual is indeed a good idea. 😉
Hi Blackson. if 20.g5 then 20...Nh5 blocking the h-file.
Then Rxh5 and Rh1 ideas are far too slow.
I just wanted to show the idea of Nf5 and the double sac on h7
ending with the Knight/Rook Mating pattern.
Instead of 20.Nf5 from the diagram 20.Nd5 is a more mundane forced win.
Black should play 17...Rxc3 and then 18...Nf6.
That would be interesting.
