None of these possibilities lend support to your other claims.

In any case, you cannot put yourself forward as the apostle of forum correction for you are manifestly unqualified.

I've listened to "WHAT" is in his posts and this leaves me thinking the orderlies on the ward are being lazy and not supervising him properly during his computer time. Any crowd around him is just for the spectacle of observing something daft.

The what is manifestly rooted in personal authority. No evidence beyond experience is offered, and even the experience is undocumented. Hence, critical readers must examine the prose for clues as to whether the claims have merit. In the post you referenced I point out that the spelling and syntax reveal someone evidently either too young or too ignorant to have the experience claimed. In the absence of supporting evidence, the claims of insight into cheating detection by an alleged cheater must be rejected.

So far we lack even the evidence that cheater_1 even knows how the horsey moves, and that he or she can distinguish a kilobyte from a terabyte. She might have owned a gameboy as a child, however.

wouldn't the world self-destruct if everyone used critical thinking? 😉

For this discussion, I am ONLY refering to LIVE chess games, NOT correspondence chess. If you are a chess newcomer, forget about trying to detect cheating as 95% people will beat you. Only when you have risen to the level of an above average player, as I have, then will you be able to tell. Remember, I have 30 yea ...[text shortened]... d end game moves. Seemingly PERFECT play.

p.s. Flamers and Trolls KEEP OUT of my TOPIC!!!!!
Two questions

1) Why should I want to try and detect a cheat?
2) Why are you trying so hard to convince everyone that you are here to help them? In other words what is your gain?

In my mind, it's really quite simple. He was booted from Chess.com, but he still needs attention. So he needs to find a new audience. I think he's starting to panic because the RHP reception to him has been largely indifferent/hostile/doubting.

A very good question.

I myself enjoy chess for the playing. I’m pretty selfish in that its all about myself. I don’t care who I play against. Could be Grandmaster or beginner, poor white guy or rich black guy, monkey or Martian, girl or boy, human or COMPUTER ect. ect. ect.

If someone wants to use a computer, go on them. No skin of my nose. In fact my computer assisted opponent gets to massage his ego by a easy victory, while I get a good tough game. We both get what we want.

Probably. We would certainly need to replace every single existing politician. Most advertisers would join the ranks of the unemployed as well.

Thanks for the replies. The average IQ here is a bit higher than the "other site" (that may be attributed to ME coming here) so I feel more at home here.

There are MANY more trolls and FLAMERS here though, so for me to educate you is a more trying task. I feel as though many of you DONT want to learn.

In response to the question as to WHY anyone would want to know when they are being cheated at LIVE chess....why not? If you have to ask, then there is TRULY no help for you.

I am also humbled by the fact that the majority of people dont know who I am. The old timers do, of course. I have been around since 1993. I still have to remind myself that there is about a 83% chance that I'm talking to a person UNDER the age of 15.

I PROCLAIM this topic hereby CLOSED. It can go no further. It has degenerated from a scholarly post to TROLL fodder.

Tomorrow I will post another topic that draws on my EXTENSIVE chess knowledge.

Your threads are simply an example of the expression "rubbish in, rubbish out". You have probably already exhausted your extensive chess knowledge, only it's not so extensive as you think. You could always be hiding some genuine understanding of chess that people here will engage with if ever you chose to present it.

But until then I'm reminded of a quote from Aaron Beck the founder of cognitive therapy:

"Professionals who have worked with psychopaths have been struck by their extreme egocentricity. They are totally self serving, feel that they are superior to others, and , above all, think that they have innate rights and prerogatives that transcend or preempt those of others"

OK "psychopath" is over the top but there is certainly a whiff of the: "self serving, feel that they are superior to others, and , above all, think that they have innate rights and prerogatives that transcend or preempt those of others"

Please don't post any more risible drivel; it's sad and embarrassing and will serve only to elicit more opprobrium from the established community here. There are other sites and fora for types such as you - try them.

Yes and don't imagine yourself to be some big "troll" either. Even trolling has a threshold and your obtuse remarks and tedious attempts at obfuscation don't make the grade. Not here anyway. Make a useful contribution (if you can) or find another home.
