You got lucky. Plus it was the sacrifice on f7 which exposed his king and that is why I am telling you if you just have to do it, sac the knight on f7.

I don't know, by move 6 the black knight was trapped. I gave the game to Crafty (v 20.0, 30 seconds per move (ie ply)) - here is what it thinks:

Crafty's suggestion of 5. ... Qh4+ looks like refuting the line.

oh well...

Game 2062482

😕

Guess 5. Bd3 was a gesture of pure madness - but seemed a good idea at the time, but thats probably were it all started to crumble

for sure 5. e5 will have kept some kind of solidity in the center block.

I don't even wanna talk about after that point 😀

Thanks to Zebano anyway for taking the chalenge.

I am gonna work a lil bit on that one and come back if something good happen with it.

Don't wait for me I could be late though...🙂

Looks like 22. Qe2 would have been more to the point, but it doesn't matter as Jee resigned.

Frankly, when someone 400 rating points weaker than me offers me a piece for a center pawn, I'll take it every time (unless there is a calculable attack immanent).

With the exception of a Lost knight (which you sacrificed) the postion Is something similair close to this....

B02/5 Alekhine's Defense....

http://www.chessgames.com/perl/explorer?node=737799&move=4.5&moves=e4.Nf6.e5.Nd5.c4.Nb6.d4&nodes=21720.24911.737749.737750.737797.737798.737799

In this opening White dominates the centre with pawns (by chasing the Knight), yet With (VERY) Careful and exact play (which can be learnt by book or experience) Black can equalise....

You arrive at a similiar postion a Knight down....need I say anymore?

Thats a very good example which succeed - where sarcasm failed - to convince me that a similar result can be achieved without sacrificing the knight. A lovely alternative to the king gambit

I aint convince it's good or worth it, but eh everything is worth trying it. My oponent did tons of mistakes, so I aint really proud of that first victory with the "Jee are you out of your brain"-Gambit.

Now I am gonna play Zebano and will tell you about the damage if I happen to survive.

Gods of Knights forgive me in advance
Zebano will kill you if you play 3.Nxe5.

It's a dumb move.

Here's a constructive idea for you. Instead of Nxe5, play Bc4. If your opponent plays Nf6, play Ng5 (the fried liver attack.) If you opponent plays Bc5, play b4 (the Evan's Gambit.)

Both of these will give you plenty of fun and excitement.

If you opponent play's d6, play d4.
