I'd be interested to read more, Korch. However, for a chess blog there are better services which integrate board features and much more. Chess.com is the best place for this. For more see: http://www.chess.com/blog This is one of my favorites on there: http://blog.chess.com/billwall
It's sorta like the closed world of AOL a few years ago.
Bill Wall?

Originally posted by KorchGood idea, but just be careful. Remember what happened to the last player who decided to make a chess blog?
For people who may be interested. I`ve decided to start my blog in which I`m going to post about chess - opinions, analysis, problems etc. So far only introduction post is made, but I`m planning to continue with something more chess related.

A wee goldmine of trivia, opening traps and interesting articles.

Under his Strange But True section we find this.
"In 1938 Jack Battell lost all 11 games of the Marshall Chess Club
championship and gave up tournament chess for correspondence
chess. In a few years, he was the highest rated postal player in the
United States."
So the next time someones says a C.C. player's grade should not
be higher than their OTB grade, quote that one.
It's amazing how your games/grades will improve on here if you
take your time.
