Why not in one move, moving the rook on the left side to the left one space.
?

(okay I see...then take the black bishop with the white bishop.)
(I REALLY have to learn how to write in that code-speak.)

Your sequence allows for Kc2, not check mate.

Answer is Rb1+, Kd2, Qd1#
Okay, will you please do me a favor and read my edited post and tell me if I was right? I cannot read the AB1X-bx stuff.

Kxe1, and I cannot see how mate can be avoided the next move.

Edit: Qc2# and Kf2# being the two threats.

Perhaps:

1. Qb4 (threatens QxN ++)

Now if:

1. ... BxR
2. QxN ++

if

1. ... RxB
2. Rd2 ++

or

1. ... Nc2
2. Rb1 ++

or

1. ... Qd2
2. Rb1 ++

After 1.Qb4 Rxd3 2.Rd2+ Black has Bb2.

What about Bc3+? If 2.Kf2+ then Be1, and Rd2+ is met by Bb2. You goose.
