Is this the one from his infamous match with Fritz, when he blundered mate in one?

Is that what happened. He was white and lost!? I just found a picture of it with a few pieces marked.
I thought he was BLACK.

1. Kg8 ..Ng moves
2. Qe3.. (fight)
3. Pawn wins down A-file.

Me bad. NEXT.

Just looking at it a3 looks better for move 2.. or maybe Qf2.

The main line is:

Is it a real game?
Yes, well done.
That one's a construct, not an actual game position.

I'm probably wrong since I just glanced at it but does Qb5 work?

Yes that's right.
The answer is
1.Qb5!...Qxb5
2.c8Q+...Kf7
3.Qxe6+!...Kxe6
4.Nc7+...Ke5
5.Nxb5
& black cannot stop the white K from getting to the corner, nabbing the a-pawn although white still needs to play reasonably carefully.

The ending with N+2P v 3P is actually a bit tricky but is a win for white. I wonder if there's something better but the the combo is so neat that this must be the solution, I guess.

The other lines start 1 ...[text shortened]... queens and takes the rook - two pieces up
2 .. Kd8 3 Nxf7+ and 4 NxQ

Is it a real game?
it's from a Petrosian game: http://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1106312

black to play.
