I am a member of both ICC and Playchess only because I had a two-year membership at ICC and then got a free one-year membership at Playchess when I bought Fritz10.
I like ICC for all the action games between the GM's, the coverage of major events, and the simuls with GM's. I've drawn a couple of GM's in simuls there a few years ago when I was more active. As a new member at Playchess I don't see anything spectacular that they have though. In fact, it's a lot harder to get around at Playchess than it is at ICC.

Pet peeve of mine: I suspect you mean either 2 cents, or .02 dollars.
Unless of course you're trying to indicate that your advice is _really_ worthless 🙂
