Hi C.P.
Good post.
Most of us anticipate a few such games in a World Championship.
And everyone is entitled to having a wee joke about the goings on. (or the lack off).
I think the organisers should have taken their rest day (today) off them.
What are they having a rest from. Shaking each other's hand?
Due to the number of games (12 games : ...[text shortened]...
anyone in the history of chess." lost his game from an equal position.
Who is Lebron James?

Agreed Carlsen has yet to peak but the lad said...
""Carlsen plays equal positions better by far than anyone in the history of chess."
Which means now and is quite a claim. I think he's wrong.
He may well turn out to be, his middlegame to endgame play is superior
to anyone around him at the moment....but in the history of the game?
These were the hallmarks of Capa and Karpov. Magnus has to take their
play and understanding of the game a step further. Very difficult.
