Voting has ended and our risks are well being taken .
From this point on , CHESS may take all his time to think on this complex position , due to the large range if possible moves . I will make it clear , that 14.d5 is the riskiest we can do becuase we are human , this stage of the game can decide the winner instantly , the time is coming , CHESS is allowed only up to 30 minutes , but our neat brains here are strong .(e.g.Regicidal,DeepThought,ark13 etc.)
This is what we need . A discussion about the moves , or a move possibilty chart like DeepThought showed us , this will help us to beat a machine we would never be able to beat individually . We are now getting to the point where serious analysis and teamwork starts .
Hope ourselves victory .
Other Notes : TheGambit : I use a ChessPad , and sometimes my own chess analysis board to use , ya know , stuff like that ? ChessPads and stuff.

Another Line :
14. d5 Bb7
15. dxe6 Qc8
16. Bd5 c6
17. Nxb5 Qb8
18. Ba7 Qa8
19. Nc7+ and goodbye to his queen becuase we have checked him.

PLEASE HOPE US TO WIN ! ALL OF YOU ! FROM THIS DAY ONWARDS , WE ARE PROVING THROUGH TEAMWORK ,WE CAN BEAT A POWERFUL COMPUTER .

REMEMBER , Bc2 is very safe for us .

Thank god we have our c3-knight otherwise ,
14. d5 axb3
15. dxc6 Qxd1
16. Rxd1 bxa2
but hopefully , we have
17. Nxa2 otherwise he would be losing by a pawn .

"but our neat brains here are strong .(e.g.Regicidal,DeepThought,ark13 etc.) " ermmm, you seem to have missed me off you list there, I will forgive this oversight though 😉

Not sure I agree with the takeback rule, we should be playing it as normal so that a bad move will remain a bad move, otherwise the pressure is off and in tricky positions we can try a move and then take back depending on Fritz' reply. If we're going to beat this machine it has to be done fairly, personally I look at 'takeback' as cheating and don't think we should carry on with that rule. We have got 24 hours to decide afterall....

The swap shop begins. I think it's the most viable move right now, can't see any other moves of merit.

The obvious move , excepting the possibilities of 15.exd5 , which seems pretty odd , and TheGambit , are you sure you heard me say etc. or do you want me to list everyone who's voted , sorry about it anyway .
18 hours + 50 minutes remaining before the move,15.Bxd5 is submitted to CHESS.

My tongue was firmly in cheek Najdorf, don't worry I was only joking. Good work in keeping this thread going so far, it is good to see how other people play the game.

On it's last move black also had 14. ... Qc8 pinning the d-pawn to the queen and leaving the bishop only able to go to c2. I see nothing better than 15. Nxa4 bxa4 16. Bxa4 Bxa4 17. Qxa4+ and we still have dxe6 which gives us 2 pawns for the piece with no glaring weaknesses and targets on c7 and e6. Now if we try 15. exd5 Qc8 16. Nxa4 (what else?) bxa4 17. Bxa4 Bxa4 18. Qxa4+ we don't have dxe6 so we don't get as much compensation for the knight as we have to defend d5 and black doesn't have to defend e6.
The problem we have is that we want black to keep taking on d5. As soon as he's taken the pawn he's committed to doing so or going a piece down. He can stop taking after 15. Bxd5 Bxd5 16. exd5 or 16. Nxd5 Nxd5 17. exd5 - this isn't aweful for us, but black has fewer problems if he's been forced to swap queens and our rook is on c7 and he's still not castled. This means that 15. exd5 is preferable if we have an improvement after 15. ... Qc8 as none of the analysis to our last move changes much except we haven't got dxe6 any more.

I can't really find an improvement after 15. exd5 Qc8. We could play 16. Bc2 but this doesn't solve anything. So I vote 15. Bxd5 (2)

I think 15. Bd5 is our only move as 15. exd5 fails to 15. ... Qc8 - the crucial difference with 14. ... Qc8 is that we have to stop black playing Nxd5 winning the d pawn and defending the c7 pawn.

I vote for 15. Bd5 (4)
