Perhaps you picked the wrong games to check; and some of the players I played against on RHP had higher matchup rates than me too. What would you put that down to Knobby?

I have some dessicated hippo and giraffe poo on my desk at work, courtesy of the Animal Programs professionals at Disney's Animal Kingdom.
There is a lot of animal health research that goes on there behind the scenes, and one byproduct is some really cool desk souvenirs. The stuff glazes at very high temperatures.
I haven't thought to ask if the stuff could be shaped into chess pieces, but that would result in a very interesting set!

I was just coming back to chess after 30 years away from the game and had forgotten most of the openings I had memorized when I had that three-way tie for first at the World Open in Philadelphia in 1982 where I ended with a USCF rating of 1817. Just because I started out poorly does not mean I can not get better. I was playing those first games like I was playing over the board games. I think I finished one in one day because my opponent continued playing, which is unusual for here and the only time it has happened to me. However, after a few games I discovered the analyse board feature on RHP and I also ordered a correspondence chess album book that has several boards and pieces with it so I could set up each of my games on a seperate board. This is when I started playing much better because I could now move the pieces around until I saw what I liked and then make the move. Plus I started using opening books again, etc. just as you are allowed to do on RHP.

Of course, I can not play nearly as well OTB, because I don't have all those advantages and may need more time to think than the average OTB player. Anyway, you can believe what you want, but I am telling you the truth.

I have a solution to solve the matter once and for all.
RJHinds, you should start a thread titled "The RJHinds Vote"
The text to the thread should read: "Thumbs up if you believe I am human or thumbs down if you believe I use an engine."
This would give the entire RHP community a chance to give their opinion on the matter without getting into hot water with the mods.
I thought of doing this myself, but I wasn' sure of your opinion on it. Also, I wanted to be able to vote myself.
Please note that I have not expressed an opinion on either side yet. I'm not trying to sway voters in either direction. This would just be a way to clear the matter up once and for all.
Your thoughts?

It was Duchess64 that brought the subject up on page 7 of this thread. If you had read the whole thread you would have known that.

I used to be able to see my dreams in colors until I was about 13 years old. I wonder if it could have anything to do with all that beer I drinked at an early age. Anyway, I have no ability to visualize a chessboard and pieces, I have to think very hard about where the pieces are in my head and I loose track with just a very few moves. Sometimes people tr ...[text shortened]... ecome good, but never great in OTB play. I will miss too many things due to no visualization.
