Does it matter what we think?
Do Akizy and Weyerstrass care?
if Weyerstrass is 1,5-0.5 against Akizy, has more victories, is undefeated, has a better overall rating, has played more games, has done more moves every month ... i think he must be on the first place.

They are way up over us in understanding the more subtle nuances in chess in a way that we can only dream of knowing a fraction of what they know.
Akizy, Weyerstrass, and Seadevil are the top members of this site. That's enough for me, and should be to everyone else. If anyone have 1 match point over the other, then it's only one game that differs them. How many games have they played? Hundreds and hundreds. And it is only one game that differs them? Give me a break.
They are equally good.
I take this all in, and I see both sides. Yes, Akizy has achieved the same result in a fraction of the moves. Yes, Weyerstrass does have no losses and more wins. He also has beaten Akizy in a match. I feel however, that FF has come up with the most sensible solution, that they are equally good. That one game that they have played could have all sorts of other factors. Akizy could have been having an off day, or Weyerstrass could have had a particularly good day. We will only find out who is on top when simply that happens. Rating-wise though, they are equal. We will just have to wait until one of them finishes another game. I myself would find it very interesting to see another game between Akizy and Weyerstrass.
B.T.W - Weyerstrass has a few games in progress with seadevil. If you look at them, Weyerstrass is clearly leading in one, position-wise and the lead of a pawn, but seadevil could pull a draw in the other two, and I believe it is very plausible. The outcome of those games, depending on when they end can affect this, if just ever so slightly.
