Okey dokey, BTW I looked at some of your games and I liked the one you played and won againt Tkd2 I think was his handle. The one where you checkmated with your rook and king. Check out the game again sometime, there was a point at which white could have kicked butt with a knight take pawn move. See if you can figure that one out.
Good night lady.
By golly, you must have found the only decent one! And so fast.
I will take a look tomorrow. No, I'll look right now, but then I'm off.
More tomorrow.

Yes, I did like that one. There was another game I won in a similar way, but it was much less obvious, and way more fun. Opponent never saw it coming, and I was giddy with delight, as I'm usually on that side of the board, the player with the slightest thread of drool, and glossed over eyes. I like to imagine I look like Patrick from Spongebob during a game. I'll look for it tomorrow.
Ta ta.

Edit: Sorry prosoccer for using your thread as a personal chatline, I mixed it up with sonhouse's thread. Is the answer 12 then?

SJ247 is of course using the mod operation without actually using the word "mod" itself.

Mod 12 is subtracting with 12 repeatedly as long it's not becoming negative.

It's a mathematician joke. Just smile and nod if you don't get it.

What's wrong with the mod 12 business? Do you actually want explicit references to clocks?

The problem with the mod thing is that the layman doesn't understand it! YES, I want specific references to clocks.

Thats cute! 1000 plus 0300 in 24 hour clocks = 1300 which is 1 PM in 12 hour notation, and 0900 plus 0900 is 1800 in 24 hour clocks or 6PM in 12 hour notation. Nice one. I thought it was a units thing but didn't get the right one.

hehe, tick tock. Yep. The tick was definitely tocking.
Did you put together the stuff in my PM's yet or are you still chewing on them?
