Someone wanted to kill him so he made the guy stand on a block of ice while changing a lightbulb. Inexplicably the man didn't die so out of anger the other one, who was looking through the window, broke the pencil he used to note things with, and shot the man through the window, that he shut afterwards.

i think i got a better solution.
2 guys are really drunk so one tries to get superman powers with the ice/bulb thing. then the friend shoots him and when he sees he is dead decides to break a pencil because he knows it will throw off the RHP dectectives long enough to get away.....but he came back to the scene didnt he???? bot 6 admit....and to think.......if you didnt have the nerve to come back to the crime scene you would of got away with it.......
