Very Nice.
1.Be4 Kf7 2.Rc8 Kf6 3.Rf8 mate.
From final mate - King Knight hops to h5
and a BP appears on f5
Mate in 3
(I know my one's are simple but I them compose within
a minute of solving the original - I fear if I took longer
to come up with a cracker somebody else would solve it-
good thread this)
1. Rf5 d2
2. Nd4 d1=B!
3. Nb5#
Move rook to b7, add black bishop on c5
seriesmate in 3
Also do try and do as few changes as possible 🙂 this isn't a criticism of anyone - I've been really impressed by all the composing ability that's been displayed so far, but remember that with twinning, the most beautiful twin is one that gives a completely different solution with the fewest possible changes.
Glad this is going well, I had feared it would just sink into nothingness!
1.Be6 2.Bd5 3.Rd7#
Welcome to any first time composers joining this thread!
It moves very fast, and we can expect some flaws, but a few pointers to encourage better problems (and avoid sloppy problems):
Let's try to avoid multiple keys, and checking keys in directmates (if possible)...
Remove the bP, then flip 180 degrees for helpmate in 2.
h#2
NOTE: neither change was needed, but if you see where I'm headed, better twins will be possible.
1...Kd3
2.Rc2 Be3
3. Bg6 mate.
from final mating postion remove Bishops add 1 Knight
Mate in 3
Edit: I knew it too slow I solved Doodinthemood's but was beaten
because I took a wee bit of time to compose.
So Ignore my one - see previous post - damn.
Ha ha - his was cooked - good - mines look's OK.
(egg of face for GP coming up....) :'(
