This is a nice one indeed. Usually pawn is on f6 and rook on e5 though. It's one move longer then 🙂

Which presumably makes the first move Kg5. Black cannot then cover f8 with the rook.

If Re1 then Rg1+ the king can escape to the h-file.

And if not Re1 (Re5+ for instance)?

Kg4 - Kg3 - Kf2

remember black will settle for a draw.
