Pretty sure her self-pride doesn't need buttressing.
I plainly admit I am not as intelligent as D64 but still have my strong points. My mistake and hers too, was saying what we accomplished as a youngster. My strong suite was figuring things out in the physical world when I was a kid, hers more esoteric in math and such.
But just the act of mentioning that kind of thing makes us both out to be braggarts when I was just mentioning stuff I did as a kid. Like what I did was so special as to be the subject of the trolls who think anyone mentioning anything out of the ordinary is to be narcissistic or some such. Such is life for the trolls.

Look, she's been through too much and I forgive her for being a dick. But she is a dick.
I can only imagine the angst she went through as a hyper intelligent kid living in a world with average people all around her.

The point is she is far more intelligent than you EVER will be. And all you can do in response is to continue trolling.
The calling out had zero to do with DC64's intelligence, and only you have attempted to frame it as so.
Reader's Digest Condensed version: she was called out for her blind arrogance, which only has a relation to her intelligence in the sense that her intelligence has tricked her into thinking she could never be wrong about something as fundamental as herself.
Facts, maybe.
Doubtful, but possible if not overly plausible.
But about herself, she considers herself above reproach, unable to be called out by anyone--- least of all some anonymous ignoramus so beneath her station in every important category, he couldn't possibly grab his ass were he given both hands with which to try.
No matter which way you slice it, she is bragging and no one likes a braggart.

The post that was quoted here has been removedWell said. I wish you had been in a better situation that would have fully developed your obvious talent.
My own grandmother was very intelligent but when she started having her periods she was scared, not being informed of that fact of life by her hyper religious parents and in fact going to her father, was beaten for daring to bring up such a 'filthy' subject.
That must have put a life long block on her abilities.
She did graduate from nursing school but under better conditions could have easily been an MD.
I am aghast at the treatment of women in my own family. I vowed never to do that to ANY woman.

She actually thinks for herself, works things out for herself.
You take a picture of a building across a lake and immediately jump from that image to 'wow, the Earth must be flat' in spite of several people telling you about temperature inversions in the atmosphere.
That is not thinking. Well, partially, WISHFUL thinking since your religious stance demands such non-thinking.
