Adding 'fischer random' castling would be fantastic, as the current system is flawed.

I assume the programming is problematic, but is there any chance this could be resolved at some point?

it's not problematic. I don't know why that was not implemented from the start.

It would be superb to get that working, then some tournaments.....then I'd get a subscription account here like a shot. 😀

I also back up this idea. Started playing Fischer chess recently, and it's a very fun exercise, gets you thinking from the very start. I reviewed the castling rules for Chess960, and was unable to perform them in any of my games.

It's still fun to play, but it would be optimal to be able to do so with game dynamics fully implemented.

I also learned about this chess mode recently and like a few games to keep my mind working :-) ...would be great to have all the rules including castling implemented here, of course!

Yep, and Fischer Random Start tournaments available to clubs as well.

Yes, you need to be able to castle in chess960. I'm in favor of it!!
