Shouldn't people be trying to implement idea's going forward which seems to be the most productive way of fixing things?

And have lost only one of those challenges.
How Russ decides to massage those statistics won't change that.

Let's keep the posts related to the pros and cons of the experimental Clan ELO rating
With some modifications to address our concerns, it may prove to be playable, or maybe it just doesn't work
After a fair trial period we can use this thread to vote on the Clan ELO Rating System
I'm starting a new thread ... Sandbagging and Collusion
They are problems we need to address
There has been quite a lot of discussion on these issues
I believe it would help Russ if we reduce that to a few simple items, that a vote can decide

If the goal was to shake things up a bit, then mission accomplished !!
But then there will be a lot of questions on the new system.
And a lot of us will be raising them. Myself included.
There will be those that have had their own motives. And they have already stepped forward.
In my pre-retirement life, I was heavily involved in project work in IT Business Analysis.
We didn't just spend large sums of money to implement something just to "see what happens".
It is probably too late, but I will submit a new proposal for a scoring system improvement.
A lot of the ideas are a follow up of some good ideas put forth by you and moonbus.
Hopefully today as I now have some free time.
Then let the howling begin !! 😀

I agree, I hope it will lead to a much more competitive system and less discriminatory to smaller clans.
I hope everyone comes to their senses and realises what adopting ELO will mean for the future of the clan challenge
Far from curing the ails of the clan challenge it will make it worse
It will result in the top clans fearing being challenged from those below ( because a loss will mean a plunge into the depths )
It will promote sandbagging to gain an advantage over other clans
The only way it could work is if everybody was honest
Small chance of that from what I have seen so far
ELO may work for individuals but not for clans
It was not meant for clans and should therefore be thrown out
