If a player abuses the forums. I know that a forum ban can be used as a consequence for the offenders actions. I think it makes sense then for the mod team to have the ability to disable the offenders ability to send PMs. This could be used as a final warning, before banning the offender.

It would be a solution to the temporary bad atmosphere here and there, now and then.

There are known people with bad social skills, that thinks that if they offend the debattants enough they could scare the ones not having their veiw of matters, they win the discussion and have the right on their side. We all identify them but few want to go into conflict with them. They are a pest.

So the banning of offenders is a good idea in my view.

I don't have to. It is volontary.

How does "A guy starts a thread about a new feature to limit forum abuse, and THAT thread is the object of the abuse it means to prevent" work for you
