Spirituality

@secondson saidDo I think that? No, I do not.
Difficult to comprehend?
Of course. You're not making any sense.
"Not everyone's spirituality is based on Jesus or even God."
No kidding? Do you think there's any other way besides Jesus?
But plenty of other people in this world do.
Are they not human? Are they not your neighbors?
How did Jesus say to treat your neighbor?
Did he say to hate your neighbor? Did he say to dislike your neighbor?
Did he say to only like him a little bit? Did he say to love him, but only like a distant relative you never talk to?
No. He said to Love your neighbor, even as ye love yourselves.
Do you follow Jesus only when it is comfortable for you?

The post that was quoted here has been removedI haven't posted on the Debates Forum since mid-2013. That's six years ago.
It was back in the day of the likes of USArmyParatrooper, utherpendragon, normbenign, bill718, JS357, moon1969, joe beyser, Teinosuke, sasquatch672, KilgoreTrout15 and others.
Back then, I almost completely ignored you.
And now here you are, claiming that what someone said to you ~ in 2016, three years after I became inactive ~ was, to some degree, about me?
It seems preposterous. I think you are simply fabricating this.

@sonship saidOr maybe Trump should use "Sympathy for the Devil " .
@Suzianne
And the Rolling Stones did not give him their permission to use it. The band has stated publicly that they do not endorse Trump and requested that he cease all use of their songs immediately.
Really ? I didn't know that.
I guess it shows that you can't always get what you wanna.

Of course he ignored them and continues using it ...[text shortened]... te]
Either that or they could offer that he use "I Can't Get No Satisfaction" instead.
@ogb saidI read "Animal Farm" at the age of twelve and it made a profound impression on me .
@Suzianne
You left out a most important title ... "Animal Farm" You wanna know about life? That's the only book to read....
Ten years later a movie , "O Lucky Man ! " made a similar impression .
Things don't change , people just change places .

@caissad4 saidMe also, although I was about 14 I think.
I read "Animal Farm" at the age of twelve and it made a profound impression on me .
I can’t remember which animal I identified with, perhaps none of them, but I do remember being certain that I would not be a sheep, a cart-horse or a pig.
@ogb saidAs great a book as Animal Farm is, indeed, most of Orwell's work is, I just wanted to say that *I* did not leave it out. This list was written up by someone at the Huffington Post. I merely presented it here, as I thought the list to be interesting, to stimulate conversation. There have been numerous suggestions for other books that could have made the list, and Animal Farm is as good as any other.
