I have never received a forum ban, not even once, in seven years. Can the likes of you and robbie corrobie say the same?
Please realize the conversation isn't about you or me. It's about a belief system and that belief system's customs and mores.

Actually I'm trying to learn if you (or robbie carrobie) do anything different during the seasonal period; either culinary, socially, or otherwise.
Considering your staunch stance on not recognising Christmas at all, I think this is a reasonable question and one worth exploring.
Edit: but as usual when confronted about with simple unambiguou ...[text shortened]... ly; except of course to stroke grampy bobby for his "wise and insightful" agreement with you.
Ask your questions with a true heart of wanting to know and understand and you'll get a your answers. Add a comment at the end like you did and you'll get nothing.

Jehovah's Witnesses are not supposed celebrate Christmas, however it is my understanding that some secretly do, to a greater or lesser extent. For example some will get together at home and have a (nondescript) festive meal, whilst others may go away and celebrate the season in a more full on manner (without actually recognising the event as"Christmas). I doubt very much that Galveston and robbie carrobbie simply walk through each day of Christmas without so much as a mince pie or a gift for their children.
My contention is clear (and it is a contention), that many JW's enjoy the Christmas seasonal break in a similar social festive fashion to everyone else, albeit without actually "celebrating" the religious/pagan date itself. I'm asking you if you do anything special in a similar way, or is every day of the Christmas period exactly like every other of the year for you and your family?

Resumes aren't the topic.

Do we need your approval or inspection of our daily activities?
This seems to be a really strange request?
All I can answer you is what I did and what I think the rest of my family did. I have no idea what any of the other JW's did as I did not see any that day.
As far as myself I slept in, and worked on my car. That's about it. Sorry if that is boring but there ya go.
Originally posted by galveston75Christmas is a special time for billions of Christians around the world, second only to Easter. Asking you about how you spent Christmas has got nothing to do with "approval" or "inspection", and it's not "a really strange request". What do you think of all the Christmas spirit and fellowship felt by Christians all around the world? What positives do you think it creates?

And I'm pretty normal if not boring but that's me. I pay all my taxes and obey the speed limits and just go about my life as a Christian and put my full faith in the Bible. That's about it.

It's obvious you know what I'm asking and are just playing dumb and not answering. No problem, it's noted.
