You are the one making the claim, not me. I don't need to brag.

Have you ever known me to not to put up and shut up? Do you want to talk about the JWs prohibition of blood transfusions to save lives again. Put up or shut up.

I want to hear how you carry out Christs commission to all Christians to go forth to all the nations to teach and preach the good news of Gods Kingdom, so put up or shut up.

blood transfusions is our affair and has nothing to do with you and you will not be permitted to use it as a diversionary smoke screen for your inability to explain why you do nothing, yet criticize other people for doing what you yourself should be doing, so either put up or shut up.

We must be able to interpret the Holy Bible to meet our situation. I am unable to go into all the world. So isn't my preaching to you on here good enough.

Is it good enough? I don't know, thats between you and Jesus, can you walk? then you can go to your neighbors in your city. I do. After all the scripture does include the imperative to GO!

I can walk, but the pain of arthritis in my old age keeps me from doing very much. I also have a handicap wife that uses a wheelchair that I must take care of. So I do not feel the call to bother the neighborhood by knocking on their doors.

If you read what he actually said... And bear in mind this is me defending RJHinds here...

What he said was "... I do not feel the call to bother the neighborhood..."

Not that he couldn't be bothered, that he didn't feel the need to bother other people...

And in that context, what JW's do really is a bother to quite a lot of people.

No I've had them visit and talked to others who have been bothered by them.

If you guys going around bothering people wasn't a thing then you wouldn't
have so many people both complaining and making jokes about it.

I'm not saying it bothers everyone, but it certainly bothers some people.

So either meaning you were wrong.

you are only one anti religious bigot, you are not representative of the nation as a whole and so what if it bothers some people, some people also actually like our calls, but because you have never gone from house to house you wouldn't know that, but hey, it doesn't stop you from having the most ludicrous and unrealistic assumptions about it nor in voicing your prejudices either.

so what if i am wrong, have you never made a mistake?

You said "it's not a bother"

Clearly in context implying that going around peoples houses isn't a bother for
you but lets humour you for a moment and assume you meant it's not a bother
for the people you visit.

I know people, and am in fact one of the people, who have been bothered by JW vists.

Thus it bothers at least some people, thus you are wrong.

Period.

I also said that I am not saying everyone is bothered by your visits, and thus none of
your 'rebuttals' apply.

And of course I can be wrong, I was wrong the other day, as you pointed out.
However unlike you I didn't throw a hissy fit, I admitted my mistake and posted
a correction immediately upon discovering that I was wrong.
Go ahead and try to find an example of you doing the same.

It isn't a bother, in almost twenty years going form house to house i can count on one hand those who have been bothered by it and usually they were mental to begin with, so no you are wrong, a few drips of dirty water to not spoil the ocean. Most people are actually very polite.

As for admitting i am wrong, its understood that as humans we are prone to aberration making mistakes is therefor inevitable, if you understood this then admitting your mistakes would not be such a big deal for you as it self evidently purports to be.

How do you know you were not a bother?
How do you know that they were not going 'and good riddance' ect as
soon as the door was shut?

Being polite doesn't precluded being bothered.
