Those are laws, and not for murder. The Cain and Abel story is different in that instead of abiding by an already created codex, God is directly involved. You have not furnished "plenty examples" where God directly asks for death as retribution for murder.
it is a law given by god, breaking that law means death, punishment also put forth by god.
i think you need to fruther clarify your stance.
