@secondson saidI am not mistaken on this. Perhaps you've simply changed your mind but don't want to say so. Maybe you've forgotten.
Because if I'm not you've dug yourself into a hole.
@fmf saidWhat you remember is the way you want to remember how you couldn't have possibly been wrong in the way you mischaracterize others intent and meaning.

Thing is you have an edge. Your memory is augmented by the script you use with every post you make against Christians. How could you possibly forget anything? You work hard at it.
What I don't remember is what I choose to forget.

@secondson saidI am not mischaracterizing anything. Perhaps you now regret having admitted that you don't feel you're cut out for teaching theology and that you prefer to leave it to smarter people than you. Perhaps that admission is inconvenient to you now, today.
What you remember is the way you want to remember how you couldn't have possibly been wrong in the way you mischaracterize others intent and meaning..
@divegester
"Despite the blatantness of your thinly veiled barb in your comment, I’m really not interesting your insincerity or hypocrisy."
"You aren’t “passing through” at all; you purposefully logged on and purposefully made your post."
"Now you’re running away so you don’t have to face any blowback or scriptural disagreement. Kind of sums you up in one post I’d say."
That is how it always starts. A complete and wholesale mischaracterization of the meaning and intent of a single post I made, to which divegeester made the assertions quoted above.
Oh well!
@fmf saidThere's another perfect example of the kind of skewing of someone's words you so aptly employ.
I am not mischaracterizing anything. Perhaps you now regret having admitted that you don't feel you're cut out for teaching theology and that you prefer to leave it to smarter people than you. Perhaps that admission is inconvenient to you now, today.
I never said I taught theology. I've never taught theology. Don't think I'd ever try.
Where in the hell did you get that idea?
You obviously made it up. And I think that's the kind of stuff you remember so well. The stuff you make up.
06 Jun 21
@secondson saidExactly. You never said you taught theology. What you did say is that you don't feel you're cut out to do so and that you leave all that to smarter people than you.
I never said I taught theology. I've never taught theology. Don't think I'd ever try.
06 Jun 21
@secondson saidExactly. And you explained why. What is it you are disputing?
I've never taught theology. Don't think I'd ever try.
06 Jun 21
@secondson saidNo I just have a memory.
You obviously have note cards with your favorite little quips and barbs written on them for easy reference.
But first you have to mischaracterize the content of what another says, then twist their meaning and intent to create your little word weapons, which you use to justify your misery, after projecting your preconceived biases and prejudices.
You're warped divegeester. Cut from the same cloth as Rajk and FMF.
I’m repeating what you said about yourself; you called yourself the “spiritual muscle” of your church, you said you didn’t teach (hardly surprising) and you gave old ladies a car ride to church. Which to be fair is nice.
06 Jun 21
@secondson saidI have never, not once called another person Satan, a serpent, a heretic or any other nasty insult you lot come up with.
Whatever you say Mr. Forum judge and dispenser of speech rights.
Get a life hypocrite.
06 Jun 21
@secondson saidWhat bias?
Projecting your bias again. No substance. Just word weapons.
I’m poking fun at your pretence that you are just “dropping by”. The aloof one on his way to his better life...just fire off a few insults, call people “serpents” before finally logging off forever.
Yeah right.
06 Jun 21
@secondson saidNo... that’s not what you said.
Sometimes I do give my friends a ride to church. What of it?
Do you think I charge them for it?
Get a life.
What you did was that your role in your church was “spiritual muscle” and you gave some of the elderly people a lift.
I remember it distinctly.
06 Jun 21
@secondson saidHelp me out here then.
Of course. You have a sharper memory of your skewed mischaracterizations and misrepresentations of meanings and intents.
That's the crystal clear truth. I know what I meant by what I said, and whatever you say about it is blatantly false.
Like Sonship you come to this forum and spout of your knowledge tell from people they are “enemies of god” “asholes” and all manner of other insults, and then you acknowledge that you don’t teach in your church.
So why don’t you teach?
