I was just about to say it was nice not talking to you about it...
You've got it all wrong, but in the words of that other Bad Zen™ master Anthony Keidis; "If you have to ask, you'll never know".
Originally posted by knightmeisterwouldn't that be the struggle in mankind to better his own internal lot, like not automatically passing someone who obviously needs help, something that happens in New York City a lot, someone gets raped and people just pass by, isn't that a form of spiritual growth to actually get involved? A growth of compassion vs self preservation? Isn't that kind of thing, maybe not just that one attribute in of itself but the mindset behind that and a striving to be more like that, couldn't that sort of thing be considered striving to the spiritual?
With which spirit are you spiritual? Or is just mushy feelings?
Originally posted by FreakyKBHActiually, when I got here first and was posting in the Spirituality forums (as spirituality is something I have a great personal interest in) I got sick of it after a week or two due to all the same sh*% coming up from the christian nuts quoting passages at eachother.
And thus, the site was initiated for all of the atheists (currently seven-to-one in terms of postings).
It's something I always wondered about this forum, why are there so many christian nuts, but virtually no posts from nuts from other religions?

Speaking of evangelical christians, have you ever seen the website, christiancoders.com Why? Why would you need a website for "christian" programmers? ARE YOU SERIOUS? That makes me want to go and get the name for athiestcoders.com ... actually i think ill check if thats a real webstite right now...
Lets just stick two completely random things together and make it a website!
Quote from Christian Coders Network "about" page
"The Christian Coders Network is simply a place where people can share information on programming games, the web, business systems, or anything else a coder may be working on. But it is also a medium where folks can get together to discuss Christ and Christianity."
So I'm having trouble with this bubble sort, oh, and what do you think Genesis 1.42 is all about?
JeremySilman.com... the largest collection of chess book reviews on the web, and HOROSCOPES!
Coffee Shop + HairCut (i've seen this... I want hair in my coffee??)
Half-Price Books & Escort !! (ok I made this up)

Originally posted by FreakyKBHI haven’t ever done a body-count to determine whether theists are “outpaced” by non-theists on here. It does seem to me that us non-dualist types are “outpaced” by dualistic theists. In the past, I think there were some polytheists here too, also “outpaced”. . .

Hey no thread hijacking here '-)
This thread is dedicated to bizzare conjunctions of spirituality and other completely unrelated topics.
Eg: chess and spirituality, christian automotive shops??, hebrew hotdogs?? Whats next, baby jesus fries?
I'm waiting for the Shiva shish-kebobs. Or perhaps Holy Spirit aeromotive design... 😉
On the other hand, I’m not aware of any “Son of God” chess opening...
