I don't feel the need for Christ.
Are you seriously saying you think I do "as I please", "when I please" and "have no need for anyone or anything else"??
Are you out of your mind? Do you really believe that that adequately describes the average atheist (or at least non-Jesus needing person) on this website??

That's not an answer to my question, Whodey. Please answer my question - and for once try to be sincere.
What are you a slave to?

Yes.

You've really been doubling down on your mindboggling stupidity lately, haven't you? It's like Donald Trump has convinced you that absolutely nothing is dumb enough to don't say out loud.

I reckon those that don't feel the need for Christ are the truly free ones.
They do as they please, when they please, and have no need of anyone or anything else.
Geez you just spew it forth dont you!
If the above assertion were true you'd be dead in a matter of days.
You can trust Bertrand Russell if you want to. I would rather trust Jesus.
Bertrand Russell probably exercised that astute mind of his to rationalize why he should dump his wife. I am sure he had his logical reasons all neatly laid out for why he should not be faithful to his marriage.
I see Jesus Christ as a man 1,000 times more listening to the human conscience.
Originally posted by @sonshipWhat a peculiar statement. Who said anything about trusting Russel? He offered some argumentations and you can investigate those and then accept them or discard them in some form. Certainly his personal life does not need to influence your views on what he says about atheism?

Unlike you and your Jesus Christ obsession, most of us don't need to create some kind of perfect cult like figure to assess what he has to say.
Is there anything specific about what he said that you have a problem with?
