@sonship saidIs this the Christianity your mentor Witness Lee described as being in an organization of Satan?
Come on Christianity. I am not going to bite you.
In my rview up to this point what is unacceptable to you brothers and sisters in Christ.
I do not claim infallibility.
I have a view expressed so far.
Is there a thunderous agreement with the atheist Ghost that I have blasphemed God so far?
Readers I have another thred on Being Saved Eventually Deified or BSED. It is somewhat a comparison to the acronym OSAS - Once Saved ALweays Saved.
Once of the meanings of Being Saved Eventually Deified is the EVENTUALLY deified means that REGARDKLESS of what organazation good, bad, indifferent, once good, degrading, making a come back REGARDLESS of what ever organization a Christian finds herself or himself in EVENTUALLY the destiny of all will be deification.
So BSED is a acronym about the inevitablitly of God keeping, and fulfilling His eternal purpose upon each and every human being who has been Justified by Him. Every human born of God participates inevitably. Organizational involvement has not effect on this inievitability. It cannot stop it. It may offer God a little trouble but cannot stop Him from causing us all to arrive by the end of the millennium.
Eventually Deified is the assurance of John 1:12,13 REGARDLESS of any kind of religius or human organization one was found in either temporarily or life long.
"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the authority to become children of God, to those who believe into His name, Who were begotten not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." (John 1:12,13)
Anyone find this assurance blasphemous?
Anyone find the climax of being begotten of God to be described as
deification find that blasphemous?
While the atheist here seeks to gather up his lynch mob another question.
Do I blaspheme to believe that the entire Body of Christ will grow up into Him in all things and arrive at the fuul knowledge of the Son of God.
Ephesians 4:12-13
12 For the perfecting of the saints unto the work of the ministry, unto the building up of the Body of Christ,
13 Until we all arrive at the oneness of the faith and of the full knowledge of the Son of God, at a full-grown man, at the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,
If we take "at the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ" to describe a level of maturity we might describe as deification (with the limits explained) is that blasphemy?
Look at the rest of this verse on the church's arriving at a fullgrown man.
15 But holding to truth in love, we may grow up into Him in all things, who is the Head, Christ,
16 Out from whom all the Body, being joined together and being knit together through every joint of the rich supply and through the operation in the measure of each one part, causes the growth of the Body unto the building up of itself in love.
@sonship saidNo, you blaspheme when you say you will become God. That is the root of your blasphemy, the thing that repels genuine Christians.
Do I blaspheme to believe that the entire Body of Christ will grow up into Him in all things and arrive at the fuul knowledge of the Son of God.
@Ghost-of-a-Duke
If you are so dishonest as to refuse to apply my definition the loss is to you.
It only shows you're adept at forming a kangaroo court of one dishonest man.
. . . in life and nature and expression but not in the Godhead.
@sonship saidYou don't get to re-write the meaning of deification.

The action of making someone or something into a god.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidThe man is a disgrace not just to Christianity but to people in general. Imagine the fool wants to redefine the word 'deification' and insisting people use his stupid definition.

Deification means: 'to be worshiped as a god' [paraphrased].
If you are saying that you, or any human are to be worshiped as a god, then yes, that is blasphemy.
We will be "purified," "cleansed," "washed whiter than snow." etc; however, WE will never be deified; that is Jesus.
@kingdavid403 saidOf course you are right, but you are not following the madness he is on about. Let me fill you in. He is redefining the word 'deification', and removing the attributes of that word, that make 'deification' = Becoming God.

Its like I say, here I have a fruit, but it does not look like an orange, neither taste like an orange, nor does it smell like an orange, but Im still going to call it an orange, and I will sell these as oranges.
The man is insane, but there is a group of people who operate that way and the doctrine is Satanic .. ie they are hellbent on convincing people to think about becoming God.

Its good to hear a fresh voice.
May we persue the dialogue by means of posing some questions about what you just wrote?
First of all, if the apostles had expected or desired worship, then did they deny the Lyconians from worshipping them as demigods? They refused any such adoration and worship.
"And when the crowds saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voice, saying in Lycaonian, The gods have become like men and have come down to us. And they called Barnabas, Zeus, and Paul, Hermes, since he was the one who took the lead in the discourse.
And the priest of Zeus, whose temple was before the city, brought bulls and garlands to the gates and wanted to offer a sacrifice with the crowds. But when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard this, they tore their garments and rushed out into the crowd, crying out And saying, Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men of like feeling as you, and announce the gospel to you that you should turn from these vain things to the living God, who made heaven and earth and the sea and all things in them;" (Acts 14:11-15)
As you consider your answer please keep in mind one of these men, the Apostel Paul, also wrote:
" . . . Christ in you the hope of glory." (Col. 1:27)
" . . . that we may present every man full grown in Christ." (Col. 1:28)
"And you have been made full in Him, who is the Head of all rule and authority." (Col. 2:10)
" . . . that you may be filled unto all the fullness of God." (Eph. 3:19)
" Until we all arrive at the oneness of the faith and of the full knowledge of the Son of God, at a full-grown man, at the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ " (Eph. 4:13)
This is the very same man, who forbade the Lyconians from treating him as a demigod.
@sonship saidI answered that in the questions for deification deniers thread.
This thread is to see how many charges of "Blasphemy!!" will be leveled at me for expounding on my belief in the deification of the believers as a grand climax of God's full salvation.
Let representatives of Christianity come argue with the Bible about this. Or let them contemplate and reconsider what is plainly there in the Word of God about full salvation.
Gho ...[text shortened]... , the Forum's Bible tumping atheist, keeps bragging that the Christians have called me a blasphemer
"Full salvation"? I think better "complete salvation". Happens the moment one is saved.
"Glorification" I think is the final "full" expectation of the believer, and that happens after death, or if one should be alive at the second advent.
Either way, "deification", in my opinion, falls off the chart. I think it speaks of hyper-spirituality. It's like hyper-dispensationalism.
Someone gets a random idea, and then goes and finds scriptures to prove it. I don't see it, but I'm a noggin-head, so...
@sonship saidEph 4:13 is about becoming perfect MEN. It is not about becoming God or God like.
" Until we all arrive at the oneness of the faith and of the full knowledge of the Son of God, at a full-grown man, at the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ " (Eph. 4:13)
Adding, changing, manipulating, twisting are all crafty ploys designed to fool the stupid. Clearly there are not many of those around here in a Chess site. May I suggest you take your childish nonsensical doctrines to, maybe a 'snakes and ladders' site.
