@sonship saidNo I dont, I outright reject the whole idea of a three-in-one god.
@divegeester
NO the question in hand is whether you believe in the three-one God.
According to your church this precludes me from salvation.
Do you agree with your church statement?
I reject the teaching of your church that god is triune.
Since you continue to refuse to admit which one of the Father - the Son - and the Holy Spirit is not God, you have not proved that you reject the three-oneness of God.
If you've received this unique God then you're in the "cult" too just like the rest of believers in God - Father - Son - Holy Spirit.
If the universal church is in a "cult" then it looks like you're in the "cult" too.
UNLESS you can admit which one of the three is not God.
You still have that option. If you want out.
That's how it looks to me at this time.
Maybe the trinity teaching that you reject is not the trinity teaching that the local churches teach.
We teach that God is both in the divine "We" Who will love the lovers of Christ and come to make an abode with the lovers of Christ.
Why are you dying to make a difference?
Is sectarianism something that gives you some kind of thrill?
@sonship saidBut I’m not trying to prove that, stop deflecting.

I am a Christian who rejects the the triune version of God as proposed by your church. Am I precluded from salvation because of this rejection?
It’s either a yes or a no, sonship.
No I dont, I outright reject the whole idea of a three-in-one god.
Prove it.
What I see is divisiveness in search of a doctrine.
Maybe you just get a rush out of standing aloof from other believers behind some pretense of doctrinal reasons.
Maybe you just think unity is playing second fiddle to others.
Prove that you don't believe one or the other of the "We" in John 14:23 is God.
@sonship saidWhat? Prove that I reject outright the whole idea of a three in one god?
@divegeester
No I dont, I outright reject the whole idea of a three-in-one god.
Prove it.
You’re getting desperate sonship.
What? Prove that I reject outright the whole idea of a three in one god?
You’re getting desperate sonship.
You appear to be the one desperate to not admit that you believe three-oneness.
Now, I noticed you have introduced a phrase - "three in one." Are you attempting to shift from three-one to "three in one "? You want to slip "three in one" into my mouth?
Do you want to slyly slip "three in one" into the booklet - The Beliefs and Practices of the Local Churches ?
I don't know what that will do for you. What do you think that subtle little shift will accomplish for you?
But I can see what you’re trying to do.
I certainly hope you do.
But do you see why you won't admit that the Father is God and the Son is God ?
Turn your insight into that and explain why you loath to tell us that BOTH the Lord Jesus Christ and the God Who raised the Lord Jesus Christ are both God ?
Explain the WHY of your refusal to admit the Lord Jesus is God and He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead is God.
Divegeester, the New Testament says that the Christians have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous.
"And if anyone sins we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous." (1 John 2:1b)
Which one is not God -
1.) The Advocate Jesus Christ the Righteous
or
2.) The Father ?
Or are both God ?
Catch you later cult-boy. Get posting a reply to my OP!!
But are you an accidental reluctant trinitarian, and hate to admit it ?
One more question to give you another shot at confessing your belief that the two of the Father and the Son are both the one God.
" ... indeed the fellowship which is ours is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ." (First John 1:3b)
Was the Apostle John in a cult too?
Was John in a cult for teaching that the fellowship he and the apostles had was "with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ" ?
Which one was not the unique God Divegeester?
1.) the Father
2.) His Son Jesus Christ ?
Or do you believe with the Apostle John and his "cult" that the Father and His Son Jesus Christ are both the one unique God ?
Don't be ashamed to confess that you are in the same fellowship and same "cult" as the Apostle John.
That is unless you have to courage to tell us WHICH is NOT God.

Sonship, for three years I’ve been asking you if I have to believe in the trinity doctrine to be saved and for three years you have been refusing to give me a straight yes or no answer, because you claim that there isn’t one. I’ve told you for three years that I don’t believe you.
Here is a copy/paste from the statement of beliefs from the website of your own church sect:
”In order to be saved, one must have a living faith in the Person and work of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Every genuinely saved one has what the Bible calls the “common faith” (Titus 1:4), which includes what we must believe in order to be saved: we must believe that the Bible is the complete divine revelation wholly inspired by God; that there is a unique Triune God, the Father, the Son, and the Spirit; that Jesus Christ is the Son of God incarnated to be a man; that Christ died on the cross for our sins, shedding His blood for our redemption; that on the third day He was bodily raised from the dead; that He has been exalted to the right hand of God and made the Lord of all; and that He is coming again for His own and to set up His kingdom on earth.”

There it is in unequivocal black and white text. So why is it so hard for you to copy/paste this text and justify it when I’ve been asking you for clarity for three years?!
Of course I don’t believe in the trinity doctrine and therefore you cannot classify me as Christian and therefore I will burn in Hell with the rest Of the unbelievers.
Perhaps you were right to be ashamed of this
@divegeester
You appear to be ashamed to admit that you have trinitarian beliefs.
Otherwise, which is not God - the Lord Jesus Christ or the God Who raised the Lord Jesus Christ from the dead?
Which of the two is not the unique one God ?
Go run it off at the gym.
You don't demonstrate positively that you don't believe in the unique Triune God.
@sonship saidStart a thread on it, see how it goes. I’ll keep bumping this one meantime 🙂
