Sonship, for three years I’ve been asking you if I have to believe in the trinity doctrine to be saved and for three years you have been refusing to give me a straight yes or no answer, because you claim that there isn’t one. I’ve told you for three years that I don’t believe you.

Here is a copy/paste from the statement of beliefs from the website of your own church sect:

”In order to be saved, one must have a living faith in the Person and work of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Every genuinely saved one has what the Bible calls the “common faith” (Titus 1:4), which includes what we must believe in order to be saved: we must believe that the Bible is the complete divine revelation wholly inspired by God; that there is a unique Triune God, the Father, the Son, and the Spirit; that Jesus Christ is the Son of God incarnated to be a man; that Christ died on the cross for our sins, shedding His blood for our redemption; that on the third day He was bodily raised from the dead; that He has been exalted to the right hand of God and made the Lord of all; and that He is coming again for His own and to set up His kingdom on earth.”

There it is in unequivocal black and white text. So why is it so hard for you to copy/paste this text and justify it when I’ve been asking you for clarity for three years?!

Of course I don’t believe in the trinity doctrine and therefore you cannot classify me as Christian and therefore I will burn in Hell with the rest Of the unbelievers.

Perhaps you were right to be ashamed of this

Is there any trinitarian in this forum who has the courage to answer this question:

Will rejecting the teaching of the trinity, the teaching of the triune god, in any way preclude a person from salvation?

Thank you.

Question as well.

Will mentally agreeing with a teaching of the doctrine of the Trinity guarantee that one has a relationship with the living Christ ?

Just because you nod in agreement about any one of doctrinal formulas concerning Trinity, does that mean you receive Christ ?

I’ve been thinking of writing an open letter to your church leaders quoting some of the stuff you’ve been posting in here sonship. I wonder what sort of reception it would get.

@divegeester

Send it to them and ask somebody ?

Do you imagine a Mofia like group ready to cut throats if some underling gets out of line?

Man! You need some fellowship.

Look. Mental agreement with any doctrine doesn't guarantee salvation.
The answers I have given your repeated and repeated challenge always left you with the impression that only God knows for certain if His life has been born into you.

Nor will mental agreement with some doctrine assure that you have received the living Person of Christ.

Which do love more - Jesus or to hate the "doctrine of the Trinity" ?

You’re just dodging, again.

I have been asking you repeatedly about being “precluded” from salvation for NOT believing your church’s teaching. I’m not asking about what doctrine guarantees salvation, and you know it.

You are clearly unable or unwilling to provide me with the information I need, so I will write to your church and ask them the same question enclosing some of your replies as a backdrop to help them with their education of disciples such as yourself.

@divegeester

You are dodging.

Tell us EXACTLY what you mean by "THE DOCTRINE OF THE TRINITY"

And I mean exactly, not VAGUELY, and not AMBIGUOUSLY, opened ended, general grumpy, disgruntled, unhappy with, foggy dislike of some NEBULOUS complaints of widespread distrust of SOMETHING you wish to insert "Trinity" concerning.

I don’t mean anything by it; it’s whatever you and your church leaders tell me it is.

You’re shouting with anger by the way.

Just want to catch up with the thread. Can you point me please to the place in the Bible that mentions the Trinity?

Thanks.

No. The word does not appear in the Bible.
Didn't you know that?

No, it doesn't, either does skepticism, or cynic but the truth of those things are real enough even if they are mentioned by those words. You did miss two links in this that went into great detail on the word Trinity, on top of other statements. Not that I think you did that on purpose I went back in this tread and looked you didn't say anything for quite a time. I'm just assuming you didn't go back and look at old conversations.
