@fmf saidThat doesn't make much sense either, but with KJ anything is possible I suppose.
KellyJay may well have had in mind the OP and the thread topic.
@thinkofone saidWhat Kellyjay said does make sense in the context of the OP of this thread.

@fmf saidFrom: "You repeatedly claim that this question is off topic so I thought it was about time that we gave it its own thread...When Jesus said he was sent by God, was he correct?"
What Kellyjay said does make sense in the context of the OP of this thread.
To: "So do you think scripture in the NT are false, and you condemn others by not
following the parts you like best?"
Okey dokey.
@thinkofone saidWell, KellyJay's inarticulacy aside, it would be on-topic if you were to answer the question: When Jesus said he was sent by God, was he correct?

@FMF
When Jesus said He was sent by God was that concocted by the NT authors in their inventing of links to the Hebrew Bible ?
@sonship saidJesus may well have believed he was sent by his god figure. He may even have said so to people he met. You say you have met Jesus. Religious people sometimes say extraordinary things about themselves.

@fmf saidHow pathetic. You can hardly blame your nonsensical assertion on "KellyJay's inarticulacy".

So Jesus may or may not have SAID something about God sending Him.
Okay, that's nice and vague and non-committal.
Which is more likely to you?
1.) Jesus said extraordinary things but was a regular acting person.
Others made up an extraordinary LIFE of Jesus to go along with extraordinary words.
2.) Jesus said extraordinary things which people take note of because He also acted in extraordinary ways along with His words.
3.) Both the words and the life of the speaker were fictitiously invented by a group of not particularly well schooled Galilean fishermen.
@sonship saidThis seems most likely to me. Jesus caused a stir. He got executed. A posthumous cult of personality was built around him that piggy-backed ancient Hebrew mythology.

You say you have met Jesus. Religious people sometimes say extraordinary things about themselves.
The other scenario is that it is normal that person should have some experiential knowledge of God.
And that it is abnormal that a person not have experiencial touch with God.
It is possible that what is typical is below the line of what should be normal - fellowship with God.
@sonship saidThere are many religions and people have all manner of religious feelings and experiences.
