PS You can keep the Lake of Fire; that bit sucks.
That’s Sonship’s favourite bit; he once famously claimed that the knowledge of (his version of) god’s judgment helped him forgive those who mistreated him.

I thought that was a nice touch.

Speaking as somebody born into Catholicism who rejected it, the people who have enforced this approach don't know their own writings.
So, you're an apostate. Or a refugee. Depending on how one looks at it.

So, I'm not a "correct" Christian. Oh well, there are plenty of other religions to choose from. One of them is bound to have cucumber sandwiches.

It only sucks for those that are doing it wrong. [Jeez, people, there's a theme here. Of course we have the Lake of Fire.]

I'm applying to become a Buddhist. They don't have any Lake of Fire. If you do it 'wrong' you don't get thrown into a LoF, you just come back and do it again until you get it.

You can have cucumber sandwishes, or ham sandwiches, or sex, or not, if you want. No biggie either way.

There is one God, and Christ died for all of mankind. Those who live righteously and show brotherly love to those around them, will get eternal life, regardless of which religion they choose to follow.

How can you be an apostate by rejecting a faith that does not adhere to the basic tenets of the bible?

But yes I think that it does all depend on your view that is true.

This is very true. Too many variations of Christianity claim to have "the truth", but I don't think that God would give anyone the monopoly on truth.

As long as you fear (respect) God and keep his commandments, then you are fulfilling the obligation of man. Eccl 12:13

Why do you think the Bible does not conclude then with Ecclesiastes ?

The last two verses of this great book -

"The end of the matter, when all has been heard, is this; Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole of man. (v13)
For God will bring every deed to judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil." (v.14)
.

After Ecclesastes there are still eighteen more Old Testament books . Then there are the twenty seven New Testament books.

Why do you think there was more to read after Ecclesiastes?

What a moron you are. In every single book after Ecclesiastes we can find references about keeping the commandments and in most of them there are dire warnings which say that failure to do that leads to damnation. But you and your stupid idol find ways to deceive yourselves and foolish others that these warnings do not apply to you as you are already saved and justified

Other people must use their religion for political purposes, to make up for the lack of God on their side. Me and mine use our religion solely for divine purposes.

There are both warlike and peaceful passages in the scripture, but only we use them at the appropriate times. The rest twist the scriptures to suit their own mood.
Do you ever do acts of violence? I understand the duality, but I decline violence and do not mix with the violent in nature.

What's the matter with you his evening Son?

You know full well that i didn't say that.

Come and be constructive, we don't always need to be at odds.

Indeed. People like sonship and KJ would be apostate in the time of Christ and the Apostles if they were preaching any faith only, Lord Lord mouthworshipping doctrine. Now it is those who preach the keeping of the commandments have become apostate.

That's cool. Do you have many seven headed beasts ? It's not the same without at least two.
