It's the fact that science DOESN'T support his fantasies.
the first thing I thought of was Irish women.
When I see around me lots and lots of foreign women
and see that quite a lot of them are far more beautiful
than Irish women, I think to myself did god play a cruel
trick on Irish men?
Your thoughts......which nation has the most beautiful women?

No, God doesn't trick or deceive.
In fact How could you possibly know?
You are making god out to be this immensely powerful being that has the capability to
deceive you in any way it wanted.
There is no possible way of telling if a being of that power was deceiving you if it didn't want
you to detect it's deception.
So how can you possibly tell that god doesn't trick or deceive...
Particularly in the complete absence of any evidence for even your gods existence let alone character.

The bible is not evidence of gods nature.
And you can't know anything by faith.
So basically you are saying that you don't know that you god wouldn't/doesn't/hasn't deceived you.
You just like to think that your god wouldn't deceive you...
In much the same way that you like to think that your god actually exists.
EDIT: And I lack faith intentionally.
Faith (the belief in the truth of a proposition without evidence to justify that proposition or in the face of evidence that
contradicts that proposition) is demonstrably the worst possible way of choosing what to believe short of discovering
the truth and the deliberately believing the diametric opposite of that.
Belief based on unquestioning and unquestionable faith is the core problem with all religion and superstition.
Faith based beliefs are a complete anathema to any and all rational thinking people. By definition.

No the thought was that God will send to heaven those who follow jesus's teachings of love and compassion, but that reject jesus as savior.
yes, god will accept those who follow jesus' teachings into heaven, but those that also believed in jesus will get better parking spaces.

No, God doesn't trick or deceive.
Which is an unequivocal statement of fact.
You didn't say "I believe that..." or "I think that..." or "It's my opinion that..."
You said "God doesn't trick or deceive" which is a knowledge claim.
You don't have to actually use the words "I know" to be making a knowledge claim.
Originally posted by moon1969I had a similar thought, not quite as harsh though. The gods don't need pussies.
That God will only send to heaven the people who have the balls to reject jesus christ as savior. And will send to hell the feeble minded who do accept jesus christ as savior?
Okay, slightly harsh.
