I was hoping that someone would unpack the text, elucidating its clear meaning (if it has one). Your links only reveal that I'm not the only one that has seen the slogane, that it has been around for a while, and that those who enjoy quoting it to sell journalistic drivel are not driven toward the production of competent exegesis.
As is often the case in the Spirituality forums, one word from Halitose sheds more light than a dozen other posts. If it is irony, as Halitose suggests, what does it mock? What assumed "truth" does it rely upon for the mocking.

I do think you've established the commonality of the assumption that the Darwin referenced on the bumper snicker is a dead Englishman, and not the latest neo-Nazi cult leader in my part of the world.
