@divegeester saidIt is your lack of understanding of the things you ask and say that is screwing you
Much of your posting, specifically you avoiding responses to direct questions, is indeed dishonest.
Much of your doctrine is worthless to the gospel, divisive in terms of focus on Christ and in fact degrading to God.
You telling me “it is scripture” doesn’t move me in the slightest. All you have is that hackneyed fall back on your personal opinion of interpreted s ...[text shortened]... f. That’s my “personal opinion”.
While your Christ induced “restraint” is off…what else you got?
up. For example, your views of the worthless gospel divisive terms of focusing on
Christ where you change the things preached by Christ into things you want Him to
say, or terms and conditions of scripture you null by your desire for a softer warmer
all accepting Christ towards sin. Jesus isn't all things to all people He is God, the
God of the OT and NT who hung on the cross for us, who died for the forgiveness
of our sins, not so we can live in sin without turning towards God in repentance.
We walk by faith, the righteousness of God is by faith, and when you are questioned
if the Word of God, the scriptures are of God or man, you don't know. You have
your personal opinions about a great deal, but when it comes to something you
either have to accept when it comes to the Word of God, you have no idea.

@divegeester saidYes, and each time you say you don't know shows you have no faith in the scripture.
I’ve answered this dozens of times.

@divegeester saidYou, your doctrine of saying that Jesus is just a manifestation of God the Father thus

not making Him a person in His own right but a version of God, not the Son of God
who always was, is, and will be. You simply don't grasp the meaning behind your own
words when you say them.

them through, do you? I can tell you I believe the 16th President of the United
States was Abraham Lincoln and be very confident that the history I look at which
gives me certainty or faith in that fact, but my certainty and that fact are still two
different things even if I'm right. So when I talk about truth, the truth of scripture
I'm not talking about my views, but the truth itself. If you disagree with the
scriptural interpretation I then attach to it, you can correct me by the source of my
knowledge, the scripture.
What you do is ignore scripture and just focus on me, completely ignoring the only
real thing of importance, not my opinion but the Word of God. You spend to much
time making it all fit in the way you want it to, you cannot see that it is you that
needs to fit in it.
@kellyjay saidWhat I cast into doubt is your assertion that “the scriptures” are the complete, exclusive and inerrant word of God.
You cannot say that the scriptures are from God, you just cast the whole thing into
doubt, another example of not living by faith, but your wicked heart justifying your
lack of faith.
Nothing more.
@kellyjay saidExactly, and every time I reply by telling you that my faith is in Jesus Christ not an ancient text.
Yes, and each time you say you don't know shows you have no faith in the scripture.
@kellyjay saidI have no “doctrine” on this matter and I’ve never said what you are claiming.
You, your doctrine of saying that Jesus is just a manifestation of God the Father thus
not making Him a person in His own right but a version of God, not the Son of God
who always was, is, and will be. You simply don't grasp the meaning behind your own
words when you say them.
@kellyjay saidI pay close attention to everything you say kellyjay.
No one is denying that, you don't pay attention to anything said to you
@kellyjay saidNo. What I focus on is your beliefs and assertions.
What you do is ignore scripture and just focus on me, completely ignoring the only
real thing of importance, not my opinion but the Word of God. You spend to much
time making it all fit in the way you want it to, you cannot see that it is you that
needs to fit in it.
When you say “making it all fit” do you mean “working it out for myself with Christ “writing his law on my heart”?
Sorry if this contradicts your old wineskin point of view.
