In a loose sense yes.
What worked survived.
What didn't work didn't survive.
But I do not believe in Intelligent Design as you well know.
However anyone who does believe in Intelligent Design would surely think that we were designed for an existing universe rather than vice versa. Yes?
wolfgang, the 10 hour outage begins in about 45 minutes. Let's continue tomorrow afternoon or evening. I'm GMT-5.
Thanks for today. Bob

Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.
(Genesis 2:1-3 NKJV)
This would have been more clear if whoever divided the chapters had not started chapter 2 until verse 4.

How come fairness has nothing to do with it?
People get robbed, raped, murdered, lied about, and so on is that fair?
Life isn't fair, it is what it is.
Justice and righteousness will be taken care of at the end of the day when
all is said and done. We get no better than that.

This life is short term, it is limited while what is coming is lasting and will
endure forever. We are our one of our own worse enemies now, and we
should not be, but we are.

of us. God has made a way for all us, but not all of us will be, only a small
few will be. Some will never hear about Christ yes, others will hear and
still reject Him.
I'd also tell you none of us are saving ourselves, we are saved by God not
through any works we do. With respect to how will God judge those that
never got to hear about Christ I do not know, but what I do know is that
those of us who know about God's grace and reject it have no excuse. I'd
also tell you that is it written that even those who are saved are only just
saved, and if that is true where will those who miss God grace end up?

If it is all HUMAN intelligent design, how did a human design his own DNA and put that program in there?

It's all I wanted to know.

Not knowing is true, but I hold little to no hope out for them I'm sorry to
say.
