@kevin-eleven saidWhy dont you shut up and go find something productive to do.
A provisional observation:
The funny irony is that the tiny eventual "believer" sprouts of the One who Spake and still Speaks the Cosmos into being would rather get lost in the brambles of localized microverbiage and cat squabbles than to sit quietly abiding in the One Who Says All.
@kevin-eleven saidFeel free to believe what you wish. It is called freedom and you could be right.

@rajk999 saidI believe there was something beyond our universe. As far as our universe, before God created it, it did not exist. There was nothing.
@Eladar
Is it the case that you like asking questions but not answering them?
I asked:
Do you believe that nothing happened, like there was no universe and no life before the first day of creation? .
This is the real problem for anyone. If you try to use a natural explanation you must say everything was in existence forever. Yet all we can see are things that have a beginning and an end.
To me it makes more sense that something outside our universe created the universe. The rule of having a beginning and end would not need to apply to something other than our universe.
@eladar saidIF there was nothing and the Earth and this whole universe was brand new then why would God tell Adam to replenish the earth? The word 'replenish' means to restore the Earth or restock it with animals and people to the level it was at some point in the past. Therefore there were lifeforms before Adam.

26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
27 So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

@eladar saidWell lots of people do that ... use a translation that suits their purpose, and some even rewrite the bible and change wordings to suit them. Here is the KJV

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. (Genesis 1:28 KJV)

Why pick kjv? I never use it.
Try NASB
God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it;

Why are you so quick to insult people when you are wrong?
Damn fool ..
@rajk999 saidYou are picking the translation to support your position. Other translations do not support what you are saying.

Interesting, the Hebrew word kjv translates to replenish, it translates to fill in verse 22.

@eladar saidAs you read the surrounding discussion in First Corinthians 3:18-20 do you feel Paul's primary concern there is with things like the world's creation or the earth's age?
1 Corinthians 3:18-20
New American Standard Bible
18 Take care that no one deceives himself. If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, he must become foolish, so that he may become wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in the sight of God. For it is written: “He is the one who catches the wise by their craftiness”; 20 and again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are useless.”
Or are you more borrowing 1 Cor. 3:18-20 and making an application to the creation account in Genesis ?
@sonship saidI think it is self evident. Creation, as described in Genesis, could be true but created in such a way that could lead people to believe it is wrong.

This results in a situation where people believe what the Bible literally says is foolishness, even though it is actually true.
