There are many atheists with many different views. On this site, the majority are somewhat skeptics ie they don't believe anything without evidence.
[b]Not believing in the God of the bible is quite different than not believing in creation.
But both are beliefs, and I don't hold beliefs.
Quite frankly, your posts, to me, seem as if you try ...[text shortened]... bout the world - and in fact the only reliable method.
But science does not rule out a creator.
No offence, digs, sarcasm or other sleight intended whatsoever.

I was surprised to read that. Page 2 I think.

There's only three pages and you only "think" he admitted this on page two. Can you be precise; quote him...?
If you want to do battle with me, I can be a prick just like you.
Got it????????
Read page 2 idiot.

Based on your posts in this this thread, you are very close to being a theist, more than an atheist. Same with Ghost.
The belief in a possible creator is something I suggest you and Ghost put more thought into.
And realising that belief without evidence is unwise, is something I suggest you put more thought into.
I will gladly give a possible creator more thought if you can give me a good reason to.
Originally posted by twhiteheadYou believe in a possible creator. He or it is obviously not 'God' to you.
I have no openness whatsoever to irrational possibilities. If the universe was created by a creator, then I expect it to be entirely rational.
But, you are less of an atheist to me now.
Argument not necessary. 🙂

No, I don't. But our disagreement might merely be one of language.
Do not believe in a creator of any kind.
I do accept that a creator is one possibility for the start of the universe. No belief involved.
Good enough for me.
You are now less an atheist.
