If anything, it was their own self referencing as to what they THOUGHT a god might be like or think and put that down as if it were real and that has duped billions of people ever since.
Like the old anti-communist tracts used to say ...[text shortened]... e the bible was written in, Aramaic? Hebrew, whatever, there is no reference to the color blue.

According to this site, blue is mentioned in the bible 50 times.

Here's one:

Numbers 15:37-40
American Standard Version (ASV)

37 And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

38 Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of each border a cord of blue:

39 and it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of Jehovah, and do them; and that ye follow not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to play the harlot;

40 that ye may remember and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God.

Exodus 28:31-37

King James Version (KJV)

31 And thou shalt make the robe of the ephod all of blue.

32 And there shall be an hole in the top of it, in the midst thereof: it shall have a binding of woven work round about the hole of it, as it were the hole of an habergeon, that it be not rent.

33 And beneath upon the hem of it thou shalt make pomegranates of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, round about the hem thereof; and bells of gold between them round about:

34 A golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, upon the hem of the robe round about.

35 And it shall be upon Aaron to minister: and his sound shall be heard when he goeth in unto the holy place before the Lord, and when he cometh out, that he die not.

36 And thou shalt make a plate of pure gold, and grave upon it, like the engravings of a signet, Holiness To The Lord.

37 And thou shalt put it on a blue lace, that it may be upon the mitre; upon the forefront of the mitre it shall be.

Whatever translation you want, there are numerous unambiguous references to the color blue.

There were three languages of the original bible, Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic. The only country in ancient times that had blue dye was Egypt. So in ancient India, ancient China, or the books of Homer, there is no word for blue.

But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.
