@suzianne saidYes, hate is anyth in ng you disagree with.
I don't know about you, but I understand hate when I hear it.
You're part of the problem when you don't think there's a problem.
I really somehow didn't expect the "define hate" people to show up so early.
Homosexuality is sin and a sexually active homosexual is going to hell...
You think that is hate speech
@fmf saidOn the face of it, there was nothing in your post to indicate that you'd
I don't know. I haven't read whatever you've copy pasted. Have I let us both down?
thought your position through.
Evidently not only that, but you have no interest in thinking it through. You're hardly alone in that. You'll have to decide for yourself whether or not you've let yourself down.

@fmf saidSure.
Thanks.
You know, for someone who routinely busts people's chops for "deflecting" from on-topic questions, you seem to do it more than anyone.
@thinkofone saidI hope this incident goes away and is forgotten quickly.

Lest posters start routinely pointing out the fact that for someone who routinely busts people's chops for "deflecting" from on-topic questions, you seem to do it more than anyone.

@thinkofone saidLet's hope you don't keep bumping this, otherwise, I won't be able to put it behind me.

@suzianne saidSee, you should not be thinking with your emotions.
I don't know about you, but I understand hate when I hear it.

You should be logical and rigorous when evaluating things or you end up letting your heart get the better of you.
When thought is free from our biases and emotions, we can come to rational conclusions that will be beneficial to everyone.
When we think in a way that is meant to color the world black & white and to bring us pleasure by convincing us that our ideals make us good people, we are committing a grievous error.
@philokalia saidDo you think there are more or less the same number of such crimes. Less of them?
I do not think there is an actual increase.
@philokalia saidThe OP question is for Christians and other people interested in the spiritual dimension of this issue. You, as a Christain, appear not to want to talk about it ~ except in political terms ~ because of something you read on some blog or other. That is your prerogative as a Christian responding to my OP.
Nice to see us discussing politics here, though.
@divegeester saidYou really should keep your nose out of my pants.
You really should relax about your sexuality.
@caesar-salad saidIf that is how you feel then you really should keep your metaphorical “pants” out of your posts, as that is what I was the content I was replying to.

I note that you have since edited your post to removed the text in question therefore making my original reply look out of place.
That’s ok though, and I apologise for any offence given, I was just commenting on what you said.
@divegeester saidIt's interesting but not surprising that you would invent such an excuse.

Regarding the posts in question, I notice that yours followed mine by 2 hours and 48 minutes, which would have been after the editing window for my post had closed.
Hate crimes in the U.S. have reportedly increased dramatically in the last two years. How can Christians [and other people interested in spiritual and the human condition] tackle this issue?
Is this another - 'Crappy things are happening. Let's see if we can blame Christians directly or indirectly somehow, for them" thread ?
