Mainly because it's true.
It's one of those inconvenient facts that science has uncovered that destroy your religion...
And everyone else's for that matter.

By all normal definitions of the word religion. Christianity qualifies.
You believe in and worship a god.
You believe in souls.
You believe in an afterlife.
You have a religion.
However if you really want to you can redefine religion to mean whatever you want.
You will be talking total nonsense, but you do that anyway.
However this will not in any way impact my argument because my argument applies
to the things you believe in and not the labels you put on them.
You believe in an afterlife and a god and souls.
They don't exist.
Arguing about what is or is not a religion doesn't do anything other than distract from the
simple fact that you believe stuff that is demonstrably false.
And more importantly believe in ways of determining what to believe that lead inexorably to
believing in stuff that is demonstrably false.
I don't really give a damn what you call it other than it makes talking about the subject a damn
site easier if you abide by the meanings everyone else uses.
And you still have not come up with any kind of afterlife concept I might like to go to....
Let alone spend an eternity in.

Science has proven souls do not exist?
I'd love to see that paper. More than likely they just say they can't find any evidence of it. That doesn't mean souls do not exist. Good grief.

as the majority of physical and mental disabilities are genetic and passed down through generations of families. it would seem you think some how they deserve it?
i suppose you think disease and viruses are creations of sin as well do you? i guess that means god hates africans and poor people.
i apologize if my colorful language was a bit too hard for your delicate glaswegian ears. but your opinions are pretty damn stupid and offensive sometimes.
