@kingdavid403 saidJosephus produced his secondary source more than 60 years after Jesus was executed.

@kingdavid403 saidHe was perceived as a political threat by the governing Romans and was executed for it.
The Bible describes a murder of an Innocent man. Look up the definition of murder dumb ass.

@kingdavid403 saidThere wasn't a "theocracy" in Israel. And you have conceded, perhaps inadvertently, that Jesus was perceived by the Romans as a threat.
Well you're wrong. The Jews found Jesus a threat to their Theocracy. The Romans were not threatened by Jesus what so ever.
You yourself wrote this: "Jesus was put to death by the Romans because the Jews began to riot for Jesus saying that He was the Son of God and The King of the Jews. I don't think that falls under sedition. The Romans were trying to stop the riot and nothing else."
You've also conceded that Jesus said he was the "Son of God" and the "King of the Jews", and we both know he had a large following including in Rome's provincial capital. You also concede that there was rioting.
What you are saying here illustrates why the Romans saw him as a political threat.

@kingdavid403 saidYou say this, but Josephus wrote more than 60 years after Jesus was executed. It is not a "contemporaneous record".
Wrong again as your usual atheist self.
@fmf saidLOL... They had two governments dumb ass. The Jewish religious leaders, then the Romans above them. Kinda like the Federal Government and a State Government. Maybe you should stick with something you believe in instead of trying to out knowledge others in something you don't believe in. A DUH!!! What an idiot.

@kingdavid403 saidIf Jesus had committed religious crimes then the Jews would have had him stoned to death. The fact is he was crucified, which is an exclusively Roman method of execution, demonstrates that he was put to death for being a perceived threat to the empire. You have already described exactly how and why he was a political threat. The word is sedition.

@kingdavid403 saidYou can also choose to talk to someone else if you want.
I completely proved you wrong and you're not grown up enough to admit that. Sorry loser, go try someone else with your atheist bs.

@fmf saidThe Jews are the ones who had Jesus murdered. Do you have any reading comprehension? Clearly not. lol...
